Snowden is a high yielding, late maturing variety with round tubers with buff skin and white flesh. Its useful in the chipping industry and has high specific gravity. Plants are medium sized with white flowers. Plants light green color attract aphids and colorado potato beetle. Plants need high levels of water and nitrogen and produce big sets with lots of smaller tubers at times. It is resistant to scab and susceptible to bruising.
